A Croatian tradition in print

These have been a long time in the making, and an extension from an earlier work (Helsinki Afternoon 1969) which was released in 2009.   Unlike the repetition of Helsinki, these two designs are just one flower, and a homage to the generations of women in my family who have created some of the most amazing embroidery pieces I have ever seen.  It's a little bit of family tradition seeping through.   This is my creative contribution to the family history. :)  Bloom I and Bloom II are both available in store now

These are wonderful. I love how the traditional folk embroidery influence shows yet they feel so fresh and contemporary. Lovely palette. Rachel :)
